UGC Rates: How to Think About Pricing, Rights & Performance Pay
There is no universal UGC rate. Price is shaped by deliverables, complexity, usage rights, revisions, creator demand and whether compensation is guaranteed or performance-based.
Editorial note: Creator Cashflow is independent. Product details can change; verify current terms with the platform before joining or accepting work.
Price the scope
Separate creation from usage. A short organic-only deliverable is not economically identical to content a brand can run as paid advertising for an extended period.
Price uncertainty
Performance compensation should be evaluated differently from guaranteed fees. Consider your production time, probability of use, attribution rules and whether a base payment exists.
Get terms in writing
Document deliverables, deadlines, revisions, usage, exclusivity if any, compensation and payout triggers.
